Sled Hockey
What is Sled Hockey?
Sled Hockey is a sport that enables players of all abilities to play the game of hockey. It is similar to stand up hockey with the exception of the equipment. Players balance on special sleds mounted on 2 runners. The sticks used by the players have metal picks on one end to propel the player over the ice to the puck and to score.
Although the sport of sled hockey was originally developed for people with physical disabilities, we encourage people of all abilities to come out and try the sport.
